Kitsilano Pool announces summer 2019 opening date, Reports

Vancouver’s only heated saltwater swimming pool, Kitsilano pool, is slated to open for the summer season on Saturday, May 18.

Located along Kitsilano Beach, the opening of the outdoor pool marks the unofficial start of summer for many residents of the Lower Mainland.

The popular pool measures in at a whopping 137 metres in length, which makes it the longest swimming pool in Canada. It also has three slides and offers breathtaking views of the ocean, the mountains, Kits Beach, and the skyline of Vancouver’s West End.

Kitsilano Pool: Summer Schedule

May 18 to June 11
Monday to Friday: 12pm to 8:30pm | Saturday and Sunday 9am to 8:30pm

June 11 to August 5
Monday to Friday: 7am to 8:30pm | Saturday and Sunday 9am to 8:30pm

August 6 to 12
Monday to Friday: 7am to 8:15pm | Saturday and Sunday 9am to 8:15pm

August 13 to 19
Monday to Friday: 7am to 8pm | Saturday and Sunday 9am to 8pm

August 20 to 26
Monday to Friday: 7am to 7:45pm | Saturday and Sunday 9am to 7:45pm

August 27 to September 2
Monday to Friday: 7am to 7:30pm | Saturday and Sunday 9am to 7:30pm

September 3 to 9
Monday to Friday: 7am to 7:15pm | Saturday and Sunday 9am to 7:15pm

September 10 to 23
