The brand new Doug Ford authorities has “gutted” most of Ontario’s local weather change packages with no substitute, Environmental Commissioner Dianne Saxe says in a damning new report.
The report slams the Progressive Conservatives for axing the earlier Liberal authorities’s cap-and-trade program to restrict greenhouse gasoline emissions — which Ford branded a carbon tax that was doing nothing to guard the atmosphere.
